Debbie Brown

Debbie Brown is the Director of Program Ministries for Greene Memorial United Methodist Church. She coordinates Mission and Outreach Projects, Community Involvement and Partnerships and Age Level Educational opportunities. She has been at Greene Memorial for 18 years coming from a background in Geriatric Healthcare. She serves on the Roanoke District of UMC Churches Common Table as Chair for Leadership Development and is a certified Safe Sanctuary Trainer for the VA Conference of the UM Churches. She is on the Advisory Council of Blue Ridge Interagency Council on Homelessness and LOA here in Roanoke. She is the Coordinator of the Congregations In Action encouraging churches to team with schools in providing extra supplies and support to the schools and also chairs the Old Southwest Congregations in Action.

Debbie is a native of Roanoke and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.
